PEM POCUS Bootcamp

PEM POCUS Bootcamp: to learn and refresh POCUS skills for PEM providers, fellows, residents, medical students, and PEM nurses. The agenda will include PEM POCUS Literature in Brief, POCUS 101 Machine basics, and Ultrasound physics, EFAST, Focused Cardiac Basics, Soft tissue, foreign body, and IV access basics. There will be hands on practice of all the above skills on live models.

1. Recognize what the I-AIM model is and how to use it.
2. Discuss PEM POCUS knowledge and skill.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Intermountain Health,  Intermountain Children’s Health, and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Intermountain Health is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
