Overview
High-quality resuscitation improves outcomes for adult and pediatric patients who suffer cardiac arrest. This activity will improve the ability of nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, advanced practice clinicians, physicians and others to provide consistent best care to adult and pediatric patients who suffer an in-hospital cardiac arrest. Topics of interest will include new developments in resuscitation science, airway management, therapeutic hypothermia, simulation training, best practice implementation methods, and ECPR.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Analyze evidence-based best practices in cardiac resuscitation.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Nurses will self-report an increase in knowledge and ability to care for patients in cardiac arrest.

Registration

Registration includes either in-person or virtual conference attendance, and access to online syllabus with PDF’s of presentations for both registration types. Please make sure to register for your preference, either in-person or virtual attendance. 

Physicians: $75

Nurses and Others: $30

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation and Reimbursement Policy: Full (100%) registration reimbursement for cancellation more than 14 days prior to the beginning of the activity. Half (50%) registration reimbursement for cancellation between four (4) and fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity. No reimbursement for cancellation three (3) days or less prior to the beginning of the activity.
Exceptions: Exceptions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances and with approval from the IPCE Director, IPCE Medical Director, and AVP for IPCE.


Accreditation

 Intermountain Health Continuing Medical Education is accredited by Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 Intermountain Health Continuing Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.75* AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
