Overview
This is a live in person conference designed for primary care pediatricians providers discussing cutting edge topics, discussing new information and important topics in pediatric care. Hear from experts in their fields how we as PCP's can best care for our patients.

Objectives
  1. Review how does social media affects the mental health of our patients
  2. Describe how food insecurities present in our patients and available resources for patients
  3. Discuss school testing and special education
  4. Identify key dermatology skills for patients of color
  5. Review disordered eating in patients
  6. Review hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and contraception guidelines for pediatric patients
  7. Review processes for helping families with behavior management
  8. Discuss poisonous plants in Utah

Registration

Cancellation Policy
Full (100%) registration reimbursement for cancellation more than 14 days prior to the beginning of the activity. Half (50%) registration reimbursement for cancellation between four (4) and fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity. No reimbursement for cancellation three (3) days or less prior to the beginning of the activity. 

Exceptions
Exceptions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances and with approval from the IPCE Director, IPCE Medical Director, and AVP for IPCE. 


Accreditation

Accreditation:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Intermountain Healthcare, Primary Children's Hospital, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine and the Utah Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Intermountain Healthcare is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA PRA Credit
Intermountain Healthcare designates this live activity for a maximum of 13* AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MOC Part 2 Credit
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn 13* MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.
