Overview
This conference is a pediatric update for the primary care provider covering topics in pediatric gynecology, neurology, autism, racism and food insecurities. The goal is to provide an update on common topics and introduce new emerging research and best practices for the primary care provider.

Objectives
  1. Review how racism and poverty can impact children
  2. Discuss the connection between food insecurity and obesity
  3. Discuss how to diagnose and treat headaches and seizures in pediatric patients
  4. Recognize how to diagnose and evaluate chronic abdominal pain and constipation

Registration

Cancellation Policy

Full (100%) registration reimbursement for cancellation more than 14 days prior to the beginning of the activity. Half (50%) registration reimbursement for cancellation between four (4) and fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity. No reimbursement for cancellation three (3) days or less prior to the beginning of the activity. 

Exceptions

Exceptions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances and with approval from the IPCE Director, IPCE Medical Director, and AVP for IPCE.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Intermountain Healthcare, Primary Children's Hospital, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine and the Utah Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Intermountain Healthcare is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
