Overview
This conference is designed to provide education to caregivers caring for patients with diabetes. This conference will discuss the unique barriers of care for patients with diabetes and identify actions to overcome these barriers in a patient centered manner. Medication management strategies that will optimize blood sugar control in various populations of patients with diabetes will also be discussed.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Apply evidence based practices into professional practice that will promote improved clinical outcomes.
  2. Discuss medication management strategies that will optimize blood sugar control.
  3. Recognize unique barriers of care for patients with diabetes and take action to overcome those barriers in a patient-centered manner.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Participants will self-report an increase in knowledge regarding their ability to care for patients with diabetes

Registration includes virtual conference attendance, access to online syllabus with PDF’s of presentations.

Physicians - $150.00
Advance Practice Providers, Pharmacists- $100.00
Nurses, Respiratory Therapists - $75.00
Medical Assistants, Other Healthcare Professionals - $40.00

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation and Reimbursement Policy: Full (100%) registration reimbursement for cancellation more than 14 days prior to the beginning of the activity. Half (50%) registration reimbursement for cancellation between four (4) and fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity. No reimbursement for cancellation three (3) days or less prior to the beginning of the activity.
Exceptions: Exceptions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances and with approval from the IPCE Director, IPCE Medical Director, and AVP for IPCE.
