The purpose of this activity is to analyze the best approaches to chest trauma including hemothorax and pneumothorax

1. Discuss the approach to chest trauma with special attention to hemothorax and pneumothorax
2. Identify when to place a chest tube and what size of tube to use
3. List peri procedural antibiotics
4. Detail the management of initial and delayed hemothorax
5. Describe criteria for observation, intervention, and transfer
