Overview
This conference is designed for APPs/APCs associated with Primary Children's Hospital from both Intermountain Children's Health and University of Utah Health to facilitate collaboration, dialogue, networking, career advancement, and best practices. Participants will learn from experts, share ongoing research, explore ongoing research outside their daily practice, and participate in discussion with leadership.

Objectives
  1. Identify the roles of APPs in leadership
  2. Identify strategies to develop and establish leadership roles that increase collaboration with key stakeholders and colleagues.
  3. Identify strategies to communicate with care for better collaborative outcomes.
  4. Increase awareness of colleague’s ongoing research and quality initiatives.
  5. Increased knowledge regarding interorganizational collaboration between Intermountain Health and University of Utah Health

The cancellation and reimbursement policy allows for full (100%) registration reimbursement for cancellation more than fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity, half (50%) registration reimbursement for cancellation between four (4) and fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity, and no reimbursement for cancellation three (3) days or less prior to the beginning of the activity. Exemptions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances and with approval from the IPCE Director, IPCE Medical Director, and VP for IPCE.


Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Intermountain Health, Intermountain Children’s Health, and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Intermountain Health is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA Credit: Intermountain Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).™ Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
