2026 Desert Region APP CME Summit

The 2026 APP CME Summit is a dynamic, interdisciplinary continuing medical education event designed to empower Advanced Practice Providers and Physicians with the latest clinical knowledge, leadership strategies, and tools to enhance patient care and provider experience. Hosted in the Desert Region, this summit brings together APPs from across specialties to engage in evidence-based learning, collaborative problem-solving, and professional development. Participants will explore emerging trends in healthcare delivery, updates in clinical guidelines, and innovations in provider well-being. The summit will feature keynote presentations, interactive workshops, and panel discussions led by expert clinicians, educators, and healthcare leaders. Topics will include chronic disease management, acute care, various specialties, and strategies for improving communication and collaboration across care teams. This activity supports APPs in meeting their CME requirements while fostering a culture of excellence, resilience, and continuous improvement in clinical practice.

1. Discuss APPs Leadership Across Care Settings – Strengthen leadership, mentorship, and clinical decision-making skills to support APPs in diverse healthcare environments. Participants will report increased confidence in their leadership and decision-making abilities in their evaluation.
2. Enhance clinical Competency and Specialty Knowledge – Provide targeted education in both acute and outpatient care to improve patient outcomes and expand APP scope of practice. Participants will report feeling better equipped to manage patients in acute and outpatient settings in their evaluation.
3. Promote APP Wellbeing and Professional Sustainability – Address burnout, resilience, and work-life balance through dedicated wellness programming and peer support. Participants report an increase in their well-being and connection by attending the conference.
4. Advance Integrated, Patient-Centered Care – Foster collaboration across disciplines and care settings to deliver equitable, holistic, and high-quality care. Participants report increased understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration in their evaluation.
