Overview
The agenda will include PEM POCUS Literature in Brief, POCUS 101 Machine basics, and Ultrasound physics, EFAST, Focused Cardiac Basics, Soft tissue, foreign body, and IV access basics. There will be hands on practice of all the above skills on live models.

  1. Recognize what the I-AIM model is and how to use it.
  2. Discuss common fundamental PEM POCUS applications
  3. Obtain adequate images of fundamental PEM POCUS application
  4. Interpret POCUS images with feedback
  5. Incorporate the image and interpretation into clinicall decision making
