Overview
Oncology Grand Rounds is an educational series designed to support development of best practices in multidisciplinary management of patients with a current or prior cancer diagnosis. Topics and speakers are selected to provide participants with up-to-date knowledge about timely issues in cancer care and survivorship, and a framework for applying evidence-based knowledge in the clinical setting as part of multidisciplinary teams. It is anticipated that participants will gain a greater understanding of how to effectively utilize system resources and involve other members of the care team to provide patients with high-quality, safe, and coordinated care.

Objectives
  1. Integrate the most important recent data regarding cancer treatment and supportive care into clinical practice.
  2. Recognize the role of multidisciplinary team members in achieving the best cancer outcomes and helping patients maintain the highest-possible quality of life before, during, and after cancer treatment.
  3. Develop a personalized approach to supporting patients and families facing a cancer diagnosis.
  4. Discuss how to access multidisciplinary care team services.
