Overview
Cardiac Molecular Imaging medical director and other nuclear cardiologists will analyze and define necessary clinical information concerning protocol, patient care, radiation safety, or processing education to physicians and technologists. Cases will be presented by lecture and will be followed by a discussion.

Objectives
  1. Summarize and discuss specific nuclear cardiology/cardiac PET/CT clinical and interpretive cases with technologists and nuclear cardiologists.
  2. Discuss up-to-date treatment strategies and improve patient care provided by caregivers encouraging best practice.
  3. Discuss issues pertaining to protocols and appropriate use criteria including; coding, outcome measures, service measure, and provider-patient communication.

Intermountain Healthcare is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
