Overview
The Trauma Update Conference is intended for advanced practice providers, physicians, registered nurses and other healthcare providers caring for pediatric trauma patients. The presentations are case based and focus on current, state of the art, pediatric trauma care strategies and research.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Discuss current research and state-of-the-art approaches to management and treatment of pediatric trauma patients.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Nurses will self-report one change they will implement into their practice or performance as a result of this educational event.
  2. Nurses will self-report that their knowledge surrounding the care of pediatric trauma patients increased as a result of this educational event.
  3. Attendees viewing the recorded session will pass the post-test at 100%.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Intermountain Healthcare, Primary Children’s Hospital, and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Intermountain Healthcare is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

Intermountain Healthcare designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.50 ** AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).™ Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
