Overview
Emergency Medicine and Critical Care operations should be standardized across Intermountain Health so that patients receive the same high quality care in all departments across the system. This activity will improve the ability of nurses, pharmacists, advanced practice providers, and physicians in Intermountain Health's Emergency Department and Critical Care Services to provide consistent best care to all patients across the system. Topics of interest will include early sepsis recognition, 4 part bundle elements, clinical best practice, and research.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Recognize the clinical disease processes to identify sepsis
  2. Discuss current clinical treatment strategies for the treatment of sepsis

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Participants will self-report an increase in their knowledge regarding the identification and treatment of sepsis
  2. Participants will self-report a change they will make to thier practice as a result of this educational activity

Registration
In-person and Virtual Attendance is available, registration is required for all attendees.
Registration Fees:
Physicians - $150
Advanced Practice Providers - $75
All other caregivers - $20

Intermountain Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA PRA Credit Intermountain Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.25* AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim     only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


 Nursing Contact Hours
 Intermountain Health is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses  Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This live activity offers a maximum of 7.25* nursing contact hours. Successful completion is attending no less than 1 full session and claiming credit only for sessions attended. No commercial support has been received for this event.

American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 7.25* MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
