Overview
Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a collaborative model of mentoring and case-based learning geared toward primary care clinicians serving unique and often complex patient populations. It allows participants to be part of a learning network, including an expert panel and other peer providers, designed to develop expertise of clinicians to safely and effectively diagnose and manage patients in their own communities with outcomes matching those patients who travel to specialist visits.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Demonstrate competency with diagnoses related to chronic pain diagnoses
  2. Compare appropriate treatment modalities for chronic pain diagnoses
  3. Apply evidence based interventions for chronic pain diagnoses

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Participants will self-report an increase in knowledge in areas surrounding the care of patients with pain disorders being treated in rural areas.
  2. Participants will self-report one change they will implement into their practice or performance as a result of attending this educational event.
