The Intermountain Health Clinical Ecosystem Summit, hosted by Clinical Excellence, brings together leaders from Intermountain’s Clinical Ecosystem to connect on our mission, share innovation, and align on clinical strategies. The summit provides a space for clinical leaders to learn from each other, understand national trends and headwinds, and translate insights into coordinated action to improve safety, quality, and patient experience.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Describe Intermountain Health's enterprise clinical ecosystem strategy and how clinical programs, shared services, nursing, and informatics interconnect to drive outcomes.
  2. Apply high-reliability principles and standardization strategies to reduce unwarranted clinical variation across a multi-state health system.
  3. Define clinical leadership accountability structures within a system governance model and translate summit insights into site-level action.
  4. Demonstrate collaborative leadership practices across physician, nursing, and operational disciplines.
  5. Compare examples of innovation scaled across clinical programs, service lines, and shared services to identify replicable strategies.
  6. Evaluate strategies for scaling evidence-based care models and standardized practices across a multi-state health system.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Learners will self-report an increase in knowledge and ability to implement team-based care model strategies that maximize bedside presence and reduce nursing administrative and documentation burden. (Knowledge)
