Overview
A vibrant didactic educational conference on the breadth of pediatric rheumatology, ranging from basic science to advanced clinical practice, and practice improvement. This will include a combination of pediatric rheumatology lectures, as well as other subspecialists, and allied health providers. The purpose of this activity is to provide education for the range of trainees rotating through pediatric rheumatology as well as update our pediatric rheumatology faculty and staff, and other allied health providers in the state-of-the-art practice and research in pediatric rheumatology.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Discuss the signs and symptoms of autoimmune and autoinflammatory disease
  2. Review common and uncommon rheumatologic conditions
  3. Review tests and procedures useful for children with autoimmune and autoinflammatory disease
  4. Discuss effective therapies within the scope of pediatric rheumatology
  5. Demonstrate knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for continuous self-assessment to evaluate and improve patient care practice

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Nurses will self-report an increase in knowledge and skill to care for patients with autoimmune and autoinflammatory disease.
  2. Nurses will self-report one change they will make to their practice or performance as a result of this education.
