Overview
Motivational Interviewing is an evidenced-based psychotherapy modality and treatment intervention. It is the second-most researched treatment modality in the field of psychology. This course includes live demonstrations and attendee role-play exercises.

Objectives
  1. Describe the 2 primary components of Motivational Interviewing.
  2. Discuss using the OARS core motivational interviewing skills.
  3. Utilize the categories of change talk

Registration
In-person and virtual attendance will be available. Please select attendance preference during registration.

Cancellation and Reimbursement Policy: Full (100%) registration reimbursement for cancellation more than 14 days prior to the beginning of the activity. Half (50%) registration reimbursement for cancellation between four (4) and fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity. No reimbursement for cancellation three (3) days or less prior to the beginning of the activity.
Exceptions: Exceptions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances and with approval from the IPCE Director, IPCE Medical Director, and AVP for IPCE.
