The Nursing Research Fellowship fosters the growth and development of nursing professional practice by promoting clinical inquiry and practice excellence through the application and conduct of nursing research.???The Nursing Research Fellowship (NRF) consists of 8 classes over a 12-week period from September to December, followed by designing and conducting a research study over the next 8 months from January through August. Classes are held virtually, allowing participation from across the Intermountain Health Peaks Region.

1. Identify resources and key relationships in the organization that support nursing research?
2. Describe elements of the research process??
3. Design and conduct a project using appropriate methods to answer a research question
4. Develop selected research competencies
5. Write a relevant research question
6. Conduct a literature search
7. Read, appraise, and synthesize the literature?on a selected topic
8. Prepare a research proposal and Institutional Review Board application??
9. Adhere to standards of ethical behavior in the conduct of research
10. Collect appropriate data?and analyze with assistance of a biostatistician
11. Disseminate results through internal and external presentation and/or publication
