Overview
The Pediatric Trauma Update Conference is intended to provide practice updates and education from sub-specialists to the trauma trained nurses and providers caring for pediatric trauma patients at Primary Children's Hospital and other Intermountain Facilities and affiliated providers.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Discuss current research and state-of-the-art approaches to management and treatment of pediatric trauma patients.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Participants will self-report one change they will make to their practice or performance as a result of this educational event.
  2. Participants will self-report an increase in their knowledge regarding the care of a pediatric trauma patient.

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Intermountain Healthcare, Primary Children’s Hospital, and the Department
of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Intermountain Healthcare is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical
education for physicians. 
Intermountain Healthcare designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.00* AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).™ Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Intermountain Healthcare is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing
