2nd Annual Intermountain Healthcare Concussion Conference

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (10.50 hours), Non-Physician Participation AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (10.50 hours)

This conference will be an in-depth review of return to learn and play concussion strategies and best practices by Neuropsychologists, Sports Medicine Physicians, and other related cognitive specialties including Audiology, Physical Therapy, Psychology, Speech Therapy, and Vision.

1. Review the structure of an integrated, multidisciplinary concussion team.
2. Discuss the evaluation and treatment of domains affected by concussions.
3. Identify resources found throughout the Intermountain Healthcare System.
4. Discuss ways to bridge the gap between medical teams and school administrators.
5. Implement appropriate return to play/learn guidelines.
6. Review identifiable concussed behaviors.

In-person and virtual attendance will be available. Please select attendance preference during registration.

Cancellation and Reimbursement Policy: Full (100%) registration reimbursement for cancellation more than 14 days prior to the beginning of the activity. Half (50%) registration reimbursement for cancellation between four (4) and fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity. No reimbursement for cancellation three (3) days or less prior to the beginning of the activity.
Exceptions: Exceptions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances and with approval from the IPCE Director, IPCE Medical Director, and AVP for IPCE.

 This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Intermountain Healthcare and Brigham Young University. Intermountain Healthcare is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
