Overview

At the conclusion of this CBT (computer based training), the learner should understand the principles of patient evaluation, safe administration of sedation medications, and recognize the common pitfalls of pediatric sedation. The learner will also be aware of basic pharmacology and dosing of commonly-used sedative drugs. This activity also educates the learner to the specific requirements of Intermountain Healthcare with regards to sedation administration.

Pediatric Sedation 2023-2025

Pediatric Sedation Module 

The link below will take you to the Pediatric Sedation Module and associated test. You must complete both the module and the test as well as complete the claim for credit form in order to receive 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Participants must also pass the associated online examine with a score of 80% or better in order to receive credit.

The hardware/software required to complete this computer based training includes Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Adobe Flashplayer 9.0 or higher and Adobe Acrobat Reader. The computer based training (CBT) and associated test are compatible with either PC or Apple platforms.
