Overview
ICU operations should be standardized across Intermountain Healthcare so that patients receive the same high quality care in all ICUs across the system. This activity will improve the ability of nurses, respiratory therapists, advanced practice providers, and physicians in Intermountain Healthcare's Critical Care Services to provide consistent best care to all patients across the system. Topics of interest will include respiratory failure, sepsis, neurologic injury, pulmonary embolus, metabolic disease, and research.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Recognize clinical disease processes in the critical care environment.
  2. Discuss current clinical treatment strategies.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Participants will self-report an increase in their knowledge regarding the goals and direction of the Critical Care Services across Intermountain Healthcare.
  2. Participants will self-report a change they will make to their practice or performance as a result of this educational activity.

Registration

Physicians $200

APP's $100

Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and all other healthcare personnel  - no fee to attend but registration is required.

Cancellation and Reimbursement Policy:

Full (100%) registration reimbursement for cancellation more than 14 days prior to the beginning of the activity. Half (50%) registration reimbursement for cancellation between four (4) and fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity. No reimbursement for cancellation three (3) days or less prior to the of the activity.

Exceptions:

Exceptions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances and with approval from the IPCE Director, IPCE Medical Director, and AVP for IPCE.

Accreditation:
Intermountain Healthcare is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA PRA Credit
Intermountain Healthcare designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.75* AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nursing Credit
Intermountain Healthcare is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This live activity offers a maximum of 7.75* nursing contact hours.  Successful completion is attending no less than 1 full session and claiming credit only for sessions attended.
