Overview
This conference will be an in-depth review of return to learn and play concussion strategies and best practices by neuropsychologists, sports medicine MD's and other related cognitive specialties including vision, audiology, and PT/OT/SLP specialties.

Objectives
  1. Review the structure of an integrated, multidisciplinary concussion teams.
  2. Discuss the evaluation and treatment of domains affected by concussions.
  3. Identify resources found throughout the Intermountain Health system.
  4. Discuss ways to bridge the gap between medical teams and school administrators.
  5. Implement appropriate return to play/learn guidelines.
  6. Review identifiable concussed behaviors.

Registration

REGISTRATION & FEES:

Physicians, Physical Therapists, Neuropsychologists, Vestibular Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Advanced Practice Providers: $395

Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapy Assistants, Certified Occupational Therapist Aides, and General Attendance (Including all Other Healthcare Professionals): $150

Students: $50

In-person and virtual attendance will be available. Please select attendance preference during registration.

Cancellation and Reimbursement Policy: Full (100%) registration reimbursement for cancellation more than 14 days prior to the beginning of the activity. Half (50%) registration reimbursement for cancellation between four (4) and fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity. No reimbursement for cancellation three (3) days or less prior to the beginning of the activity.
Exceptions: Exceptions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances and with approval from the IPCE Director, IPCE Medical Director, and AVP for IPCE.


Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Intermountain Health and Brigham Young University. Intermountain Health is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
