Beninati Brief Bio
Bill Beninati is a critical care/pulmonary physician with Intermountain Health, a community-owned not-for-profit system. He is the chief medical officer for the virtual hospital, consisting of Classic Air Medical, Life Flight, TeleHealth Services, Outreach, and Clinical Command Centers. The comprehensive air medical rescue and critical care transport program operates 50+ aircraft, 25 ground ambulances. The program conducts advanced missions including pediatric and neonatal specialty transport, advanced respiratory support, mechanical cardiac support, rotor wing IFR, lift hoist rescue, and international jet service. The comprehensive telehealth program spans from asynchronous and direct-to-consumer services through multiple acute/critical care programs. The acute programs are fully integrated with the system clinical command function and air medical transport. Dr. Beninati’s focus is on developing and operating these services to deliver care which enhances safety and quality.
