Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Taubin pursued her undergraduate studies at Tulane University and completed her medical education at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining Intermountain, she was employed by The Shepherd Center, renowned as one of the nation's top 10 rehabilitation hospitals. Her areas of expertise encompass acquired brain injuries, such as stroke and traumatic brain injury, as well as persistent post-concussive symptoms and migraine headaches. She has extensive experience with patients who have spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, and require spasticity management, including the administration of Botox®. She is also trained in performing Botox® injections for migraines. Of special note, she holds a keen interest in employing sphenopalatine ganglion blocks for headaches and has amassed significant experience in addressing long COVID and autonomic dysfunction.
