I have been employed with Intermountain Healthcare for over 23 years.  I spent 4 years working in rural Utah as a solo practitioner.  I have practiced full-spectrum family medicine including inpatient, obstetrics and training residents and students. For the last 13 years I have held numerous leadership positions within Intermountain Healthcare.  I am skilled at developing relationships across specialties and with operation leaders. I have developed skills in conflict resolution and change management and the implementation of new processes.  I have presented numerous times to the medical group and outside organizations on subjects such as chronic pain management, medical cannabis, opioid abuse, and others.

Associate Medical Director Family Medicine, Intermountain Healthcare

Responsible for 52 family medicine providers as well as 8 clinic lead physicians. Provide timely feedback, encouragement and crucial conversations.  Disseminate and manage messaging from senior leadership.  Hold regular team meetings with the family medicine leadership and clinic leads.  Work in partnership with operations leaders in clinics, geographies and service lines.

Geographic medical director, Intermountain Healthcare

Provide clinical insight and direction to the geographic team including operations leaders, nursing leaders and business leaders.  Work closely in developing goals, KPIs and continuous improvement projects.  Interview recruits and train in onboarding new providers.  Work in concert with hospital leadership in developing joint strategic planning.
