ONGOING RESEARCH - Understanding Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) from the Patient and Family Perspective.
- Project is under IRB revision. Plan to obtain information regarding family members of patients with diagnosis of Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura with help of the Utah Population Database (UPDB) and analyze the risk of autoimmune conditions and immune deficiency disorders in family members of patients with ITP.
- Diversity in the management of Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH)
- Project is under IRB revision. Plan to identify through a survey directed to residents and attendings of different specialties the different approaches to diagnosis and management of patients with HLH.

I rotated in the inpatient and outpatient pediatric hematology-oncology service at Princess Marina Hospital. Provided clinical care and education to medical students and residents.
