Disclosures: Nothing to disclose

David Lewis is first and foremost a husband and father of 2 beautiful children (3-year-old girl and 1-year old boy). His passion revolves around his family. He loves the outdoors (hiking, mountain biking, canyoneering, camping, and white-water rafting) and doing these activities with family and friends. He was a competitive dancer for 20 years and has toured with multiple dance companies all over the world.

David went to BYU on a dance scholarship and while traveling learned about and saw many injustices in the world. He grew a passion for issues revolved around children and went into Family Studies. David interned for DCFS, worked for youth groups and residential treatment centers, and volunteered at youth camps. What has brought him some of the most joy in life is performing for elementary schools, children’s hospitals, refugee camps, and orphanages and seeing the joy on children’s faces as they see the performances and interacting with them afterwards.

David went to U of U after graduating from BYU to get his Master’s in Social Work to continue along the path of helping others. While at U of U he experienced another side of Social Work and gained experience in health care. With many of his siblings working in healthcare already this area became a great interest and he decided to pursue this area for his career.

David joined Intermountain Healthcare in 2016. After working in the Coronary and Thoracic ICU’s he was given an opportunity to become a manager in 2018. David is now a manager for Hospital Care Management for Park City, Heber Valley, TOSH, and Alta View Hospitals. He has loved the experiences gained here and loves the team he currently works with.
