Stephanie is a master’s in nursing administration trained registered nurse, with a background in pediatric medical nursing. The first 15 years of Stephanie’s nursing career was spent on the Children's Medical Unit at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2016, Stephanie started working for Intermountain Children’s Health, helping to create programs specific to teen to adult healthcare transition. For three years, she was the nursing care coordinator for the GRAD Program, teaching young adults with Type 1 Diabetes, self-management skills and topics related to healthcare transition. In 2019, Stephanie became the Intermountain Children’s Health clinical lead for teen to adult healthcare transition. Stephanie is very passionate about teen and young adolescent health and well-being. She brings a special connection and love to the care of this population. Stephanie has two children, Asher age 10 and Grace age 7. She also has two stepchildren, Kyanne age 13 and Kanon age 7. During her spare time, Stephanie loves to be outdoors and to garden. She also has over 30 house plants.
