Dr. Kevin Walker was born and raised in Midvale, Utah.  He completed his Bachelor of Music degree at Brigham Young University in 2002 following which he attended medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, earning his medical degree in 2006.  He then returned to Utah and completed a residency in Neurology in 2010 at the University of Utah where he served as co-chief resident his final year.   During residency he developed a greater interest in and appreciation for sleep and the lack thereof, prompting him to pursue a one-year sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Utah and Affiliated Clinics.  He is board certified in both Neurology and Sleep Medicine and joined the Intermountain Sleep Disorders group in the Salt Lake Valley in 2013, where he currently serves as the medical director.  He treats adults with a wide variety of sleep disorders including sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, and parasomnias.

He is married and has 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy.  He loves spending time with his family and enjoys volunteering in the community and at church.  His hobbies include music (playing the piano and organ, singing), reading, and running.  He also enjoys traveling and hopes to be able to do that enough someday to consider it a hobby as well.
