Lexi Grosvenor Eller has been a maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialist with Intermountain Healthcare since 2008 and is also an assistant professor in the Department of OBGYN at the University of Utah. She has a degree in molecular biology from Princeton University and an MD from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, she came to the University of Utah for subspecialty training and earned a Masters in Public Health.

 

As an MFM, Dr. Eller specializes in caring for women with medically complex pregnancies, fetal conditions that require specialized care and surveillance before birth, and prenatal diagnosis.  She has published peer-reviewed research on topics including abnormal placentation, recurrent pregnancy loss, and physician counseling of women whose pregnancies are complicated by severe fetal anomalies.  Her educational interests include fetal monitoring and simulation-based training for MFM fellows.

 

Lexi was born in Washington, DC, grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and lived in North Carolina and Oregon before moving to Salt Lake City in 2005 with her husband, David.  They have two children, Samira and Wyatt.  They love to explore all that the amazing Mountain West has to offer!
