Brad Winter, PharmD Bio

 

Brad practices as an Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist at the Intermountain Layton Family Medicine Clinic.  Brad was raised in pharmacy by his father, who is a pharmacist that owned and operated an independent pharmacy.  Brad went on to graduate from the University of Utah in 2014 with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree, then completed a PGY-1 residency with Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis, OR.  He went on to complete a PGY-2 residency in Ambulatory Care with Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He stayed with Intermountain Healthcare to start clinical services in a primary care clinic where he manages diseases such as diabetes and hypertension under collaborative drug management agreements.

 

Brad practices as an Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist at the Intermountain Layton Family Medicine Clinic.  He graduated from the University Of Utah College Of Pharmacy, then completed a PGY-1 residency with Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis, OR.  He went on to complete a PGY-2 residency in Ambulatory Care with Intermountain Healthcare.  He stayed with Intermountain Healthcare to start clinical services in a primary care clinic where he manages chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension under collaborative practice agreements.  Brad also has unique responsibilities in informatics where he assists with training and development of the information systems of Intermountain HealthcareOutside of work Brad enjoys the outdoors, playing the banjo, and spending time with family.

 

Brad Winter is as a Clinical Pharmacist, board certified in Ambulatory Care.  He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Utah, then completed a general residency with Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis, OR, then a specialized residency in Ambulatory and Primary Care with Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He stayed with Intermountain Healthcare to start clinical pharmacist services in the Intermountain Layton Clinic where he manages chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension and works with the Layton Chronic Pain Clinic. Since starting at Layton Clinic, Brad has precepted pharmacy students, PGY1, and PGY2 residents.  Outside of work Brad enjoys the outdoors, home projects, and spending time with family.
