Professional Bio:

 

Tricia Starks, MSN, is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Primary Children’s Hospital who works primarily with Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and also is a part of the General Surgery/Trauma Team. She started working here at Primary Children’s Hospital as a tech in 1997, earned her nursing degree in 2004 and then graduated with her Nurse Practitioner license in 2016. Her clinical experience includes working in surgery, trauma and rehabilitation. During her professional career she has had the opportunity to present on the role of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Advanced Practice Provider for the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and she has assisted to advance the role within Pediatric Rehab medicine. Her clinical interests include making a difference within the community by working to educate and develop resources for prevention of traumatic brain injury.

 

Tricia additionally earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Utah in Ballet and has enjoyed teaching, participating in fitness, hip-hop and dance classes within the community. In her spare time Tricia love’s spending time with family & friends, traveling, hiking, snowboarding & wakeboarding.
