Sean C. Turner, DPT has 8 years of experience in Outpatient Orthopedics.  He graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Utah in 2009; where he worked with various sports team from the University of Utah, Westminster College and local high schools.  In 2013 he graduated from the University of Utah with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Upon graduation he was employed by Intermountain Healthcare working in Acute Care/ICU and Outpatient Orthopedics in the Salt Lake Area.  In 2014 he was hired to run an Intermountain Healthcare Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic in Payson Utah. He worked there for 4 years, running day to day operations, growing the clinic and working with local high school athletes. He also provided monthly educational meetings for the South Region Physical Therapy group for Intermountain Healthcare during those 4 years. In 2018 he joined the Outpatient Physical Therapy group for Intermountain Healthcare in Provo Utah, to work with BYU athletes, athletic populations in the Provo area and general Orthopedic injuries. In 2019 he was asked to join the multidisciplinary Utah Valley Concussion Clinic as an expert in Concussion Care Management. Sean also serves on the Intermountain Arthritis Wellness group, Rehab Services Extremity Professional group, Rehab Services Concussion Professional group, and Leads the Rehab Services Orthopedic Practice Council. Sean became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2018, and he is currently in a Fellowship for Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy through Regis University.

Sean grew up playing basketball, soccer, and running track; which instilled in him a passion for sports and to help individuals return their desired activities.  Whether it’s at the high school, collegiate or recreational level. Sean and his wife Ashley, enjoy spending time hiking and visiting state and national parks with their 4 children. They enjoy raising their children in the Payson Utah area, where they have access to wonderful outdoor activities and community events.
